We are excited to offer an option for those with 2022+ Toyota Tundras who are looking for a cover for their rear seat storage area that still allows the seats to fold down and be used. We are also offering several variants including an option to make the whole rear seat area a flat platform when the seats are up. This is really useful for those with pets that ride along with us!
Made from 3/4" exterior grade hardwood plywood with a black phenolic resin coating on each side. The top coating has an anti-slip hexagon pattern, and the bottom is smooth. We are also offering a DIY carpet kit (self-adhesive carpet roll, snap razor knife, and directions) if you would prefer to have carpet. This carpet kit is sold at cost.
The storage area cover is in 3 pieces which allows you access when seats are partially down. It uses custom dividers that slot into the existing divider slots and 3D printed supports on each of the four corners. These 3D printed parts are made from PETG, will withstand plenty of heat, and are kept in place with 3M VHB adhesive. When ordering the storage cover only option, you receive the dividers, 3D printed supports and the three cover plates.
The platform is in 2 pieces allowing for easy install and removal. The platform uses 0 fasteners and is easy to assemble and disassemble. You might also choose to glue these joints if you want them to be permanent. This platform is designed for use on top of the OEM rubber floormat but can also be used without.
